About Us
After working as a Registered Nurse for five years, I left the nursing profession to open a boutique. I truly loved taking care of my patients, but I could never leave work at work. I was unable to conquer handling the stress of the profession. In 1997, I chose to leave the nursing profession, and I've never looked back. I have truly enjoyed each year as a store owner. I love meeting new people, listening to their stories, giving advice and receiving advice. There's nothing like building bonds with my customers. Gayle Bozeman is a valuable employee who oversees daily operations in the store. She has been with me for 12 years and is my dear friend. I have had many high school and college age young ladies, who have worked for me over the years. When they leave to go off to school, we feel like we're sending out another daughter into the world. Each young lady has affected our lives in many ways, and hopefully we have positively affected theirs.
We also have a screen printing business in the basement of the boutique. We have two other wonderful employees who work in this area of our business. Mimi Hill, who keeps everything organized and running smoothly in the screen printing. Diane Thrower is our monogrammer, who does a beautiful job with all of our embroidery.
I have a passion for beautiful clothing and shoes....especially shoes. But as I've always taught my daughter, it is more important to be beautiful on the inside than the outside. Although there's certainly nothing wrong with striving for both. God has blessed us with this business and wonderful customers, who have always supported us. We are all so excited about the launching of our website. Our plans are to provide our love for clothes and people to individuals all over the country.
